Funny, how a tiny
yellow flower creates
such animosity
in the backyard
gardener. All they see
is a worthless, stubborn
weed doomed to spread
upon the summer winds,
a blight upon their precisely
organized gardens, a detriment
to their perfectly manicured lawns.
