Two roads diverged in a vibrant green forest

If I knew you could break
me, would I have chosen
a different path? A great poet
once said there are two, diverged
in a yellow wood (though ours
was emerald green, encompassed
by the sharp, sweet scent
of pines, elongated sentries deep
in a forest that holds all
my memories of you).
